Useful Information

Our term time lasts for 38 weeks each year. However, as previously mentioned, we do provide a Holiday Club during the school holidays for all enrolled children.

Each of our locations has designated operating hours, which you can find on our homepage. We offer full-day sessions as well as morning or afternoon options.

We will also have five training days annually when our settings will be closed for staff training. These sessions are crucial to keep our staff updated on changes in practices or government legislation.

Committee

Eastwood Community Playgroup Association (ECPA) is overseen by a Committee made up of current and former parents, plus individuals who represent the local community. This Committee holds legal responsibility for the organisation and plays a vital role in decision-making, policy reviews, and directing our fundraising efforts. We warmly invite new members to join us. Your participation does not need to be demanding or time-consuming; every contribution is valued and appreciated.

Lunch & Snack

Children who remain for lunch must bring their own meal in a clearly named lunch bag or box.

The association provides snacks twice a day, adhering to the new 2025 healthy eating guidelines. We are mindful of any allergies and ensure that all snacks are safe for the children in attendance.

Fees

Please be aware that session fees are regularly reviewed and may be adjusted throughout the year. Fees will be invoiced and must be paid in advance as per the agreed terms. We will not impose any fees during our closure; however, all fees are still payable when we are open, regardless of your child's absence.
